Making a Difference

More healthcare workers in the hardest hit countries, such as the sub-Saharan countries, would help to make a difference.  Not even half of the affected people are getting the medicines that they need; improved healthcare services could help to change that.

We can work to make a difference by raising awareness.  This is not a problem that will just go away if we ignore it long enough.  We have to do something to help end it.  By warning people that we know about the virus, urging them to be very careful to prevent its spread, and by encouraging them to help spread awareness as well, we can fight HIV and AIDS, one person at a time.
